Igor Bitman

Born in 1953 in Moscow, Igor Bitman studied drawing and painting at the School of Fine Arts in his hometown. He then participated in non-conformist artistic events, before making the decision to cross the Iron Curtain in 1981. He first discovered, dazzled by so much beauty, Italy and its innumerable treasures. Then in 1986, at the age of thirty-three, he settled permanently in Paris.

Holder of numerous awards, this immense figurative painter exhibited since 1982 in Montreal, Geneva, The Hague, Bologna (Forni gallery) and Paris (Visconti and Francis Barlier galleries).
